Good news on the adoption-day front. Thanks to my mom (who works for the attorney who is handling Jonathan's adoption) making some phone calls, the adoption has been moved to Tuesday, November 25. This is going to be better than November 22 for a couple reasons:
1. I don't have to leave my comprehensive Ph.D. exams on Friday morning and drive straight into Odessa that night.
2. Since it's only a couple days before Thanksgiving, we're actually going to get to spend a good part of a week, including Thanksgiving, with my family (instead of a really fast weekend). I haven't seen them for Thanksgiving in four years.
