Answers to my "Don't Forget the Lyrics"

Well, I had something of a turnout, but people didn't do so well. Then again, I'm not really that eclectic in my music library. So, if you don't listen to some of what I listen to, you probably don't listen to most of what I listen to.

Oh well. Here are the answers:

1. Fly from Heaven – Toad the Wet Sprocket
2. Abraham – Sufjan Stevens
3. Shiver – Coldplay
4. We’ve come to Declare – Shane and Shane
5. Let Everything that has Breath – Matt Redman
6. Jimi Thing – Dave Matthews Band
7. Wedding Dress – Derek Webb
8. If I Could - Jack Johnson
9. Sing Your Praise to the Lord – Rich Mullins
10. Everyone Knows - Delirious
11. Callin’ Baton Rouge – Garth Brooks
12 Signs of Life – Steven Curtis Chapman
13 Walking Man – James Taylor
14 Above Ground – Norah Jones
15 Everything’s not Lost - Coldplay
16 He – Jars of Clay
17 In Christ Alone – Michael English
18 Feelin the Same way – Norah Jones
19 Ants Marching – Dave Matthews Band
20 She Held my Hand – Steven Delopolous
21 I Wish you Would - Train
22 Famous Last Words – Derek Webb
23 I’m Letting Go – Big Tent Revival
24 This Road – Jars of Clay
25 My Heavenly – Jars of Clay

Did Webb write or perform Famous Last Words?

In general I should have done better on your list. I am bad at both words and music, so this game doesn't play to any of my strong suits.

Webb wrote and performed a song called "Famous Last Words." It's different from the song Jars does.

To be fair, it's on one of the Guild cds, which very, very few people have.

I only got the Cold Play lyrics right. That is my favorite band. I wasn't going to post the rest of my ignorance. Okay, okay, okay I got the Garth Brooks song right too. But that is just because I am from Texas.

I actually do know a few of them--it is amazing how nearly unrecognisable a lyric can be when read/ spoken vs. sung.
